Internship #2

What have you actively done to start off on the right note?
The past two days I have been productive around the office and helpful with making sure everything that was needed to be done for the live broadcast was set and we had everything in order. I would say that time wise I have been responsible because I have always showed up on the scheduled time mainly because I go the same time as my mentor, since she is my neighbor.


What have you actively done to create interesting opportunities for yourself?
I got to show my mentor how hard working and positive I am during unfortunate situations that happen live and on-air which I would then help to save them time and make sure what had gone wrong got fixed, and in turn would make them want to use me to help solve other unfortunate situations that happen on-air.


What have you actively done to advance the interests of your mentor and/or site?
I'm learing faster and better at working on the live broadcast. On the first day I screwed up a couple of times but once i got that hang of it, i was good to go. Not only that, I'm an extra pair of hands that they needed to help out on the broadcast.


What can you do in the immediate future to improve yourself and your experience in the above areas?
I can understand better about how to work the live broadcast and strengthening my skills with graphics. I also hope to get to know more people and make connections, so far I have met a handful of people and are getting along great with them but I hope to get to know more people in the offices.
